Weapon of choice?
As I was looking around for some more AirSoft equipment and came across this review section and all those bad reviews have all overlooked the basic issue about this style of gun. 1, Some people can't afford $300+ dollars on a gun. 2, Not all guns are designed for long range.

I started playing AirSoft some years ago using a spring load jUN MiNG G36c, Very sparadic accuracy, low powered and very very plastic... But it was good to start with and Cyma weapons are a good step up from there. I use a CYMA G36c now and over time of owning it moddified it so it can out shoot any high priced rifle on the market.
I do own several guns ranging from $500 to $1200 dollars (mostly custom) which are all fine and only see the light of day during compotitions or when I need a specific style of gun.. Be it long range, mid-range, close quaters or a mixture of all 3. But for general all round performance on a buget Cyma is perfect so long as you look after it.
Just because its big, high powered and expensive... Doesnt mean its the best, you need to chose the best weapon for your local AirSoft arena and mostly importantly for you and your budget.

Idea
When someone says AEG , I can't see this gun falling into the catagory. It's the worst thin I have ever shot.(this is my firends) I personaly am embarresed to be seen with it. I have the Tokyo Marui conterpart and this gun can't be compared. True it costs a full 230 dollars less, but you can get a slick pistol that will shoot faster, and more acuretly, with two extra magazines for less.

I must emphsize this: CYMA HAS A BAD REPUTATION. Which airsoft gun you buy is your decision. If all of your friends use low power airsoft guns, then a low power airsoft gun is probably fine for you. However, I suggest you ask other people about the guns you will buy and any experience they have had with the gun you want. Again, Airsoft forums do very nicely and have helped me greatly in the past. Just post a question on a forum, but first make sure your question has not been asked and answered before. (most forums have a search function that lets you search previous threads.) now on to why I made a second review.

If you look at the ratings of the review, (the number of people who said each review was good/helpful/whatever,) those who gave a review in favor of this product get a higher rating. My previous review, which I thought was much more helpful than the one below it, got a very bad rating in the beginning, (about a 1:4 ratio I think.) The one below it, which is very short and offers no useful information, got a very high rating. This trend continued with all other reviews, although the difference in ratings was not as extreme. It didn't matter how good the review was.Although this isn't something that's important, it really pissed me off.

I must also say that amazon.com is not a good place to buy airsoft guns. And don't buy things on impulse. Go to the damn forums like I told you to, and do your research so you know what you're getting.

P.S. I do not consider something "sweet for the price" if the company that makes it has a reputation of making things that break in a month.

WELL P 90/AEG
The gun sent had a different flash supressor, and a bent screw on plastic silencer. Gun shoots about 10'feet. That aside,their shipping dept. sent this item via UPS to a P.O. Box. UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. I discovered this when they sent me a tracking number that was not active for over 4 days when their email stated that it would be active with-in 24 hours. After finding out about them shipping this item to my P.O. Box I e-mailed, then called when they did not respond. When I called I found out that they had not shipped the item yet. I questioned them about shipping via UPS to a P.O. Box, and they basicly said "don't worry about it". While tracking item for 3 days I find that instead of the item being delivered on 2/18/05 it's now going to be delayed until 2/21/05 so a street address can be obtained. Well duh!" I told you before you shipped it!" So I have to call UPS, they have to call me back, and they told me I needed to be at the center just before 7pm to wait on the driver that has my package, or wait another 3 days to have it delivered. I stood at UPS for 45 minutes. Then I get home and it's not even the airsoft gun that was listed, or pictured. Airsplat did send a replacement that is a little better, and is the one pictured. This is a starter airsoft gun, so don't expect a high end gun for this price. Most spring guns I have used work better then this AEG, and they are cheaper. Gun does look O.K. and would be good for a costume... but no long distance battles, you will have to be up close(5-8 feet).

M16
First I must say this rifle is the best airsoft gun I've bought yet.Two magazines a strap and two Ni-cad batteries. This is a real good gun for beginners and vets alike. The rifle detail is amazing it has everything a rifle should have on it. This gun is also surprising accurate from 20-50 yds away. If your looking for a dependable airsoft gun but dont want to fork over big bucks then this is the gun for you.

p.s: It says it comes with safety glassesbut i didnt get any.

M16
This was my second airsoft gun.My first was a spring desert eagle which has a much higher muzzle velocity.I've had this for about 15 days and I've been having fun ripping apart targets with Ward Churchill's face on them. This gun is great for doing so; it shoots a bunch of BB's per second, don't know how many exactly.It's not that powerful (the spring guns are more powerful if that's what you're looking for) but it can still provide hours of entertainment.It's a bit small for an M16, but it has an extendable stock to make it longer, plus it looks good.It comes with these yellow BB's, they suck.Don't use them. Hope i could help.

Very Good Gun
I dont airsoft much which is exactly why I bought this gun instead of the more expensive Tokyo Marui version.This gun is very good in my taste.The gun isnt too heavy, i can use one hand and shoot it, its has good accuracy and with all of the extras it comes with the gun looks totally wicked.the scope isnt that bad, but it could have been better(mabye it could actually zoom in?) the laser sight has its flaws. its hard as hell to get the batteries in there correctly and if u dont adjust it carefully the laser will go out and u have to re-adjust it to get it working again.so far the gun has only jamed once and that was because i had it on semi-auto and i was pulling the trigger very rapidly. the stock works and the flashlite works very good.they could have made the gun with metal or a better plastic cuz the plastic seems alittle cheap to me.it shipped fast and was well packaged. the changer for the shooting style works fune though sometimes u feel like ur going to break it cuz of the way it sounds and feels when u change it. it comes with an easy load loader and a strap, gun would be imposible to load without the loader.i wish they would use the same clip design as Tokyo Marui cuz i bought a 470 round clip and it didnt fit so i have to return it now.overall i belive this gun deserves a 4 out of 5

I never thought $40 would buy this kind of accuracy
When the gun arrived from Airsplat.com (best place to buy airsoft guns, period.) I was a bit dissapointed in how much of the gun was painted orange.See, since the silencer isn't always on the gun, they paint on the actual gun barrel as well as the silencer tip.That is the only cosmetic complaint I have, since the rest of the gun is very detailed and very pretty.The metal extending stock fits the shoulder nicely and allows for easy manuverability, just like the MP5 was designed for.The gun is also very sturdy, and heavy, like any good gun would be.No cheap plastic here, just sturdy dense plastics housing what appears to be solid metal guts for the firing mechanism.The clip is a fast load clip, which is better than putting one BB in at a time.Also I found that you can fill the clip with extra ammo inside and under the removeable easy load funnel.All you do is dump in BB's and replace the funnel to keep them there, and when the BB's in the springed section of the clip are used up, remove the funnel and dump some BB's in your hand, use the funnel to put them in the springed section, then place the funnel back, then load the clip into the gun and you're ready to go again without having to carry a little container of ammo around.That won't make much sense unless you see the clip supplied with the gun.The gun is also very accurate, more accurate in fact than any of the other guns I own (see my other reviews).It also travels a lage distance before dropping off, and it leaves nicely sized welts on opponents.It is the best gun I've used.

Pretty good.
I ordered this a couple days ago and it arrived to me today I tried it out with my brothers M4 and it worked fairly well. The range is decent and the extras (Scope,Flashlight, and laser) are pretty useful. The stalk is extendable but very flimsy and after seeing previous reviews ill be sure to be careful with it. I think the pull back action after every shot can be a little annoying and also the fact that they have a automatic, semi, and safe mode when it can only fire 1 shot at a time. the entire thing took a while to assemble and feels slightly flimsy. Honestly i'd say save 8 more dollars and get another m4 that runs on electricity and is automatic this is a good gun for beginners but if you want a kick ass model of the m4 get something a little more expensive.

This gun is OK.its not super great and isnt awesome.its pretty slow but the accuracy is good from 20 feet and less.it does hold alot of bbs but it is time consuming when u load them in the chamber.the only good accesery it comes with is the strap.which is still F%$#@# bad.so dont use that crap.i am dissapointed in the purchase but i still gotta use it.the gun has a nice look but the orange tip is way too big.i covered it in black electrical tape.The barrel is kinda flimsy.im scared it will break so im gonna get a new gun.and im not a F%$#$%* mommas boy so u can eat %$#$ whoever said that.ok for the money if ur a stupid begginer.

the actual facts about this gun
this is a bad gun.ohter people say u can get this gun because its really cheap.but first i will tell u a few things the fps is 240 i am sure because it says on the box and the stualk is very flimsy it broke off in 2 days the scope is usless the laser is off and the only thing that is usfull it the atual gun.and it does not hold a butload of bb's it holds 180 bb's but you can't shoot all 180 u start out with 14 and then when u run out u have to take the mag out shake it and this takes about a minute and reload up to 14 again.in this time i would have been shot.the loading is hard. and i am afraid that the barrel on my gun will brake cause it is super flimsy.

i have revied this before. i disagree with another reviewer. my scope actualy is helpful. mine also has very hard plastic. this is worth the money. if you dont know how to take of the back sight just unscrew it. i got mine weeks ago and it is still in perfect condition and still works as well as the day i got it. mine has a pretty good range, more than my airsoft semi-auto pistol, shotgun,and mini machine gun. WARNING do not shoot realy realy close to a sticky target!it will ricochet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not been shot by it yet but it is more powerfull than my other airsoft guns. you may also have your bb break if you shoot at a hard surface from 15 feet or less. i suggestto use the glasses. These guns are junk. This gun is awsome!I've gotten my buddies off at roughly a greenbelt's width accurately!This is definitly worht it, but make sure you don't buy a non-pro version as they have no hop-up.Another thing is to make sure you screw the barrel in right because I've had problems with my bros and they go wild if you don't.If the problem of arching bbs consists continue to switch to heavier and heavier rounds.If even this dosn't help sell it on E-bay and get a DPMS M16!

anyone who says they curve up madly after a couple feet are obviously using .12 gram bb's u need.2 for it to be accurate so dont be disinformed by other people.

Wow, this is powerful!
I bought this gun because, well, it was amazingly pretty, and I am a girl. But wow, does it pack a punch, I am afraid to use it in a war for the fear of hurting someone. Then again, I bought it at Hobbytown USA for $80+ but it was nice to be able to carry it home. It is incredably accurate and shreds through an inch of styrofoam from over 50 feet away with .20 BBs. Only problem I've had is that the cartridge that holds 25 BBs has a tendency to fall off to relieve stress in the barrel, it gets annoying, but the chance is reduced if you put less BBs in it. Besides I'd rather have that fall off than damage the barrel. Another fun thing it that you should realize is that it must be close to 4 feet long, and considering I'm barely over 5 feet tall, it looks kind of funny, but no one disputes that I could really hurt them, donc, c'est très chouette!

Powerful, but not durable
This gun shoots pretty hard, and is very accurate initially, but because it shoots so hard and the hop-up isn't adjustable, the BB's curve upward drastically after 100-150 feet.It's almost entirely plastic, parts wobble, and generally feels like you could break it at any time.If you just want something to play around with then this gun will do, but if you're planning to go out and play with your friends, spend the money for a better gun.

i like this set. good price, fair quality. i had them for over 40 days. the p99 broke but it was my fault. i forgot turn the safety off. i agree with first review. the desert eagle is the best. i would recommend it. i had aeg. thoes pistols just for back up weapon. so far these gun did not quite on me yet.

Good Guns Good Price
I bought this guns and they arrived in 5 days really good shiping. The only thing that i didn't like is that all of the guns have orange tips. You might not see it in the picture but it does have orange tips. Those guns are good for beginers but the best one is the desert eagle. It shoots hard and my clip holds 31 bbs. Excellent
I got this gun a few weeks ago and and the gun was in perfect condition, no scrathces of anything. as soon as i popped off the top and looked at the gun i could tell the quality would be very pleasing.its very heavy but someone said it was heaveir than a real one. NO WAY. a real m16 is over 7 pounds. The clip does not hold many bbs so you should by another magazine if your out on the feild playing.The silencer does not silence the gun (DUH) but gives it a cool look.All of the attachments are good but make the gun even heavier.Great buy, but i need to find some extra magazines.the electric target makes bbs fly every which way imaginable, so dont use it inside.Large amount of bbs are included but youll go through them fast so buy more of those too.GREAT. VREY PLEASED. do not buy Well or CYMA brands, they suck.

This is a great gun and I think you should buy it. High quility everything! It has a sweet laser too! The gun should be for kids 8 and older. It might be too heavy. But other than that, this is the best gun I had ever had!!!!!!!

Best Gun In The World
This is the best gun Its not made of cheap plastic it made of metal Thats why it weighs 5 pounds It may sound heavy but it isnt(unless you try to hold it with one hand)It is also very durible i dropped it so many times and it didnt even crack My older brother couldnt even break it when he was mad at me.The laser dot scope isnt a dot it is a cross but who cares right! I like the cross Better any way.The flash light is bright too i used it when the electric went out and it worked good ZID is the best bb gun company the worst is CYMA and WELL.For 80 dollars this is the best gun i ever had i have a 350$ one and this one better and it only cost 80 bucks.The lazer pointer on it goes far and it last a long time to.About the battery packs they last a week for me and i use it all the time to charge it takes around 2 or three hours this is the best gun ever i recomend that every that wants a bb gun should get this one

okay...
-i recieved this gun on wednesday, i shot it around a bit, and i liked it. it has pretty good speed and accuracy, feels pretty realistic. hawever, by wednesday, i was shooting it, and when i cocked it backthe handle snapped off. its all plastic, so you have to be pretty gentle and careful when you are cocking it. but other than the fact that the part that SHOULD be metal, is actually plastic, its a pretty good gun.

piece of junk
This gun is an absolute piece of junk. When I first got it, it looked decent and shot o.k., but the second day I had it, it broke. The lever that u pull back to load the gun broke and would not move. When I took apart the gun to try and fix it I realized why this gun was so bad. Everthing was made out of plastic, and was barely held in place. It turned out the lever I was trying to fix broke in half, and there was nothin I could do about it. This gun is considered, "a heavy gun", but this is only because there are weights inside it, to make it feel more realistic. I bought this gun because of the price, and the looks, but now that I know how terrible it is I want to warn you so you don't make the same mistake I did. DON'T BUY THIS GUN!!!!!!!!

A Beast
This gun is a BEAST!! The cocking system is sweet and helpful. This gun is affortible and good.I think the gun should be only for kids 12+ up because it's way too powerful and it's very very painful.After you shoot someone, a small red mark will appear and the person will scream because it's that painful.

I just got this gun a couple days ago for my birthday.It is awesome.It is accurate enough to hit something with a diameter of about 4 inches within 2 or 3 shots from about 30 ft. away.It probably goes about 100 ft. then begins to drop.It also fires super fast.I don't really know how to test the fps but it must be over 300 for sure.The only complaint I have is that when your loading it you need to pull the spring all the way down which can get super hard.Overall this gun is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!It is also dirt cheap.You will not regret your purchase!!!

Hooray for power Boo for cheap plastic
I bought this gun and it broke in three days it was powerful for those three days though. But Keep in mind it has thin cheap plastic. Overall Fun but crap.

powerful but breaks quickly
avoid this gun. it broke on the second day. i was cocking it and then when i shot it it broke. this gun is fun and powerful while it works. the little pistol did not shoot well for awhile. later for some reason it started shooting pretty hard. the only reason it got 2stars is because of the mini pistol. for the last time avoid this gun.

THIS GUN SUCKS S**T!!!
This was the first gun I had ever gotten. At first I was all excited because it was pretty powerfull. Then, two days later, it jams. The spring jammed and stores don't work on that model so I was screwed. Then one day I had it next to me (barrel facing me) and I was playing games when I hear a loud CLACK!!! The gun shot its own spring out for no reason. And it hit me. I got so mad I snapped it in half. Whatever you do, do not buy this gun! It's a warning, don't buy it!!!

CYMA shotgun-pistol combo
I recieved my package within 10 days.That's pretty good when you live in Germany.The pistol isn't anything to rave about.You might as well throw it away or give it to your friend as you pelt him with your shot gun.The pistol hold about eight rounds and it's not powerful at all.

The meat and potatoes of this package is the shot gun.It does not fire multiple rounds at once.If you try to pump it more than once to load extra rounds the rounds will just roll out the barrel and fall onto the floor.The shot gun does fire very hard.

I use the shotgun for indoor target shooting and it does shoot very accuralty.The shotgun fires at a consistant rate of power.This shot gun reloads very consistantly but does reload blanks on occasion.You can fire off about two rounds per second.The maximum range of accuarcy is about 50 feet.After that the rounds just loose their velocity.

It's a good deal for $20.00 but paying extra money would get you a better one that fires multiple rounds at once.Over all it's an average gun with good power and and good shot group at chose range. ... Read more
