Lil Sioux Recurve Bow Archery Set
We are pleased with this archery set. I think it will be a good beginner set for our little boy. It did take a long time to get here, so if you're interested in this item, I would suggest ordering it plenty early if you want it by a certain day.

great introductory set
I am an adult interested in learning archery.After reading some information and seeing that adults typically use a 30-lb draw weight, I still decided to get this beginner's set so that I could see if I enjoy it and also so the rest of my family could use it too.

I find the 15-lb draw weight to be perfectly acceptable and easy to use for adults and younger people.The arrows can still go quite far if distance is your thing.The set also comes with two arrows (not three as stated in the description), a small quiver, a paper target, instructions and a finger protector.

Wonderful
My sister got me this bow for Christmas. My other two friends did to, we love it! its grate for chaseing off little brothers who enjoy getting in front of you when your shooting. This is deffenitly not a hunting bow. But good for beginners.

PSE Recurve lives up to what it represents
For the amateur looking to go up one tier, not a bad take down recurve bow at all.Great Balace, and limgs well made.Loving it thus far.

Watch out for kids
You have to be careful.Don't shoot the bow and arrow when little kids are around.Don't let little kids around!!But otherwise it is a very good bow but don't shoot it at any kid or not even near.

This is a great bow!!
I got this bow for Christmas and it is awesome! The draw weight isn't bad and it fires nicely.Two things. One, it doesn't tell you how to attach the sighting pin and this black plastic piece and two, the rubber feathers are a bit weak and rip easily.

Not a Toy!
My 5 year old son was begging for one of these for Christmas.So, we bought him one.It's a very nice starter for those interested, however it is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of the kids.We now have some holes in his bedroom wall due to "showing off" to his cousin.This is for outside only!

Be sure to do one thing...
Be sure, when you get the bow, to adjust the rubber grip downward. The arrow rests on the top of the grip, so you want the grip placed slightly below center. Unfortunatley, I kept it how it came, with the grip placed in the center so my arrow would be slightly off center. Low and behold, more stress was placed on the upper half of the bow due to the incorrect grip placement, and the fiberglass splintered as the arrow was drawn back (this occured after firing several shots). When I adjusted the grip correctly(just pull on it) the bow became more powerful and accurate, and I was quite satisfied. The splinter doesn't look fatal, and can be taped over. Just heed this warning! The bow itself is good, and comes with one string (which is becoming worn). Really, the only problem is the grip, which must be moved. ... Read more

Great Bow, wrong parts.
This Bow Is a Very Good Bow For Target shooting. I would strongly recomend it for Target shooting and not for Hunting. But! When I received The Bow The Limbs Were backwards! Everything else was great exept for the limbs of this Bow. The reason I give This Bow a 4 star is because Its a great Bow whenyou get the right peices. I still suggest this bow.

Awesome Bow
This Bow is AWESOME!! Don`t listen to little apachi. I`ve had this bow since christmas 2004 and I can still hit a bullseye from twenty feet!! the only bad thing is when you get it the arrow feathers are bent and don`t fly straight. So yo have to buy new arrows. But other than that this bow is awesome!! Hope this helped anybody who wants to be a Legolas.
