not to bad
The red piece screws into the base. You can change the the level of the ball by screwing it down or unscrewing it as far as possible. It has only about a 4 inch difference.The toy is very easy to put together... seems to hold up fairly well so far.It comes with two durable balls and a bat.It seems an ok level for my 2 1/2 year old But is a better fit for my 5 year old. They have beaten on this toy a ton and no cracks yet.You can also hang it by the blue base and the red stick and bat will lay flat for easy storage out of the way.

Great Outdoor Fun!
We recently bought this for our 21 month old son and he absolutely LOVES it.He always wants to be outside so he can play with it.It is very durable and great family fun. :)I would definitely recommend this toy!

Great for all ages!
My 4 1/2 yr. old daughter and 16 month old son love this.My daughter actually tought my son how to play.It has been so neat to watch them play together.

I love toys that bring my kids together and this is one of them.After my son, I let my daughter "teach me" how to play as well.We had fun.

This set also makes itself easy for clean up.There's a place to put the balls and the bat in the base for easy storage.I thought this feature would be a pain, but it's easy and saves space in our already packed garage.

You won't regret buying this!

Besides being a beginning baseball player, there are so manyother reasons why one might want to own this durable set: a small yard,a lack of a pitcher, a rainy day, all come to mind. It features aneasily assembled swiveling tee, which stands atop a rubber home plateand can adjust for height. An extra base and pitching rubber are alsoincluded (we're not sure why in a T-ball practice unit, but at leastkids will be ready when they start playing for real) as is a battingglove. The bat is real wood and, though smaller than regulation, reallypacks a punch. In our unscientific test, the rubber baseball reallysailed and, thanks to an elastic cord, came bouncing back. Good if you live near a busy area
My son got this toy when he was 4.He is now 6 and still uses it.I like that the ball has a cord attached to it. It's great for us since we live on a major street so when we play in the front yard, I don't have to worry about it going in the street and getting lost.(We don't have a backyard)It isn't very durable.The cord on ours has broken a couple of times so I have just tied it back together so it works.Also, my son keeps hitting the T stand instead of the ball and the stand has come off many times.I just have to keep putting it back on. It is falling apart now that it has been 2 years years, but my son still likes it and it works good for us.

BROKEN ON THE FIRST USE!!
My husband and I decided to get this for our 4 year old daughter to teach her how to hit before t-ball season started. It was easy to use,but after several tries that afternoon...it broke. My daughter missed the ball and instead, she hit the post that the ball sits on. It broke completely off of the base and there is no way to fix it. We will have to buy a new one. If my four year old daughter can break break it after only a few swings, this is not the most durable product. I seriously suggest you shop around before purchasing. ... Read more

Quality hat.
The fabric is high quality and the stitching is well done, but there is a slight problem with the logo. It reads "NY." I can't imagine why people would want that on their head. But I'm not one to argue with taste, though I will offer a little common sense: If you must have one of these, wait a bit. I suspect the price on all Yankees-licensed merchandise is about to drop significantly. After Steinbrenner fires his stable of losers, you can probably pick up jerseys for a few bucks, so long as you don't mind that they've got the names of recently-unemployed players on the back.
