great shoe, great price
I have 2 pairs of this model shoe and love them.After being a Nike fan for years I decided to give something else a try.This shoe is lightweight and very comfortable.I also love the classic style.And you can't complain about the nice price.

The first time I saw this shoe (in black/white patent leather) was on the feet of Boston Celtics All-Star forward Antoine Walker. Being a fan of "old-school" shoes and Mr. Walker, I immediately took a liking to the Adidas Promodel 2G.
The Adidas Promodel line has been around for over four decades now and many a current and former NBA player has spent time in a pair, whether in high school, college or at the pro level. The first thing that stood out to me was how Adidas kept the classic "shell toe" as part of the shoe while adding minor adjustments to give it a nice blend of modern/retro looks. The patent leather also gives it a nice touch making the shoe simple, but unique.
Another huge plus which I'm sure everyone will notice is the price. ... it ain't gonna clean out too many pockets and for this price y'all can go out and cop a pair or two (one for home games, one for the road). World's Most Comfortable Hi-Tops
I've owned several pairs of the Reebok 4600's, and the newer 4600 Ultras over the years. There just is none that can compare for support and absolute comfort. As for support, they can almost qualify as boots rather than sneakers, but yet they are as softly padded as slippers. I wear them without socks, laced snug, comfortably all day long. So,if you would like to go sockless in hi-tops, go with the 4600's. These babies are it!

These are a dream come true!
I've been wearing these since they came out in the early 80's?Like when I had my GTO! I must have 8 warn out pairs still. These are impossible to find new now. I got the last 2 pairs at a mall some years ago for $54.99 a pair. This is so great. I got 4 pairs so far. I'll likely get a few more. They are SO comfortable right out of the box. Light! Nice looking compaired to all this crazy lookingwacky junk they make now. They are warmer then insulated boots in the winter. The padded collar is so wonderful. Unlike the new ones that have 2 points that dig into your ankles. What up with that? ReeBok was nots to change these. They are like Classic Coke, Levi's 501's and Ivory Soap. Areal piece of Americana. Likely these are the last stock on earth in most all sizes. You could sell these on ebay and make a profit!I wrote Reebok to request they make these again. Why do companies change great products! To pay designers? These sneakers totally rock! I hope 6 pair will last me till I'm old and grey.A great looking shoe also and they last a long time.
