This guy is dead wrong, its much much higher for wave tool that doesn't even come with a leather pouch and couple bucks higher for the tool adapter.

Personally, I wouldn't go the route of this tool as the wave does everything I need it to do in data networks and minor repair uses. My boss and I use our wave pretty much daily and I recommend it to all my cisco classmates.

Nice Accessory, On or Off of the Wave
This Tool Adapter for the Leatherman Wave comes with 6 hex tips and a black plastic case, 2 5/8x2 1/4x3/4 inches in size with a belt clip on the back, in which the adapter and tips fit snugly. The case is no bigger -and may indeed be smaller- than a screwdriver-type handle or ratchet wrench and tips. So if you already carry a Wave, the adapter might be the practical way to go if you use hex tips. It will accomodate all standard 1/4 inch hex tips.

The tool adapter fits onto the top of the Wave when it is closed. The tip has 3 positions to choose from: straight, a 45 degree angle to the Wave, and a 90 degree angle (perpendicular) to the Wave. The adapter works fine for light work. I would hesitate to use it for a job that requires a lot of torque because the adapter is not super-secure in attaching to the Wave. On these occasions, I would use the adapter without attaching it to the Wave. In fact, the adapter can easily be used on its own, and that is actually preferable in many instances. If you need to get into a small space or have trouble reaching, attach it to the Wave.

Of course you need Leatherman Wave or smth. complaiant, but still great. I even used it as it is - like single tool :))

Small, compliments the Wave well. Not useful if serious torque is required...however...do you REALLY to carry a full compliment of SAE wrenches??

Useful on occasion, but don't carry it around
I've had both this and the tool adapter for the Supertool.

This tool is useful, but not something I carry around every day. When I plan on going somewhere which might require odd screwdrivers but they might not be available, I put it on my belt. It came in handy when helping friends move, for instance, because all their Ikea furniture required allen wrenches they'd packed. I'd tossed a couple hex bits in my adapter case and happened to have the right ones. It's also handy when you can't fit the cordless drill in the right place to disassemble something.

Unlike the Supertool adapter, this doesn't have a flange to help keep the adapter on... while it's unlikely that it would slip off the end while using, it doesn't feel quite as secure.Update: I just got a new Wave (thought the old one was lost), and they've made some minor improvements.They added springs to help the handles click into place in either a closed or open position, which end up gripping the tool adapter very tightly. ... Cast iron re-introduced: a wonderful skillet!
I had not used a cast iron skillet in many years, and due to not knowing how to care for it properly back then, it became rusty and I gave up on cast iron.

Perfect for your back porch
I got this item about 4 months ago and I love it. It was easy to assemble, I did it by myself, strong woman that I am. It glides very smoothly and is easy to clean. My Mom liked it so much that I just ordered her one in the other color.

Great glider at a great price
I purchased this glider in Jan 2005, but it was out of stock until March. When it arrived, it was well worth the wait. I have it on my front porch facing a lake. It is a smooth glide, sturdy, comfortable & easy to clean. It really does take 2 people to put it together. Instructions were easy to follow.

Lodge has been making cast-iron cookware for over 100 years, and thanks to cast iron's excellent durability, some of the original pans are probably still around. It's not hard to see why cast-iron pans are the ones most often passed down from generation to generation--nothing can dent, warp, or bend their heavy construction. This 9-inch griddle pan will meet all grilling needs without any decrease in quality as it ages. In fact, unlike many cooking surfaces, cast iron becomes more stick-resistant with use. Cast iron also has excellent heat retention, so dishes don't need to be cooked over extremely high temperatures. Totally disappointed
I bought this griddle after reading reviews from people that its good for Indian cooking. I seasoned it as per instructions.
I am totally disappointed.. my Indian flatbread/chapattis turn very hard after roasting on it, forget making dosas or omlettes..
I wish I could return it to the manufacturer and get my money back.

This pan CRACKED its second use
Need I say more?it cracked right down the middle the second time I used it.No more Lodge brand for me.

Perfect for Indian food
I have become a Born Again Cast Iron Fan with this product. I have been looking for an alternative to a Non-stick pan for a while. I was surprised to find things turn out much better with this one. Especially warming chapatis and making Dosas. I don't have to worry about the non-stick chemicals getting into my food. The short handle works perfectly because with such a shallow depth one is less likely to cook things that need handling the pan too much.

Best griddle I've ever owned
Once I'd seasoned the griddle according to the instructions that came with it, I was amazed at how perfectly everything turned out. Anything from fried eggs to French toast to dosas come out picture perfect with little or no oil needed. Wonderfully easy to clean afterwards, too. Couldn't find a better deal if you tried. As for the short handles that others have mentioned, I guess I'm used to the short handles on griddles we use back home in India. This is the closest I've found to a traditional dosa griddle, and it doesn't require the huge amounts of trouble to season like those do.
