1-0 out of 5 stars Doesn't hold air!
My 2 girls got this as a Christmas present & the first night they went to sleep on it, one had already gotten a leak & cried because she couldn't sleep on "her own bed".The other was deflated in the morning when we woke up.They didn't jump on them, either. We can't send them back because like most x-mas gifts, the boxes have been thrown out.

5-0 out of 5 stars Barbie Ready Bed
I ordered the Barbie ready bed for my daughter. We were a litle dissappointed, because the one in the picture, with the ballerina barbie on it was the one that we wanted. Well we never got that one, even after sending the first one I recieved back. But over-all she loves her ready bed. She has slept on it since the first day that my husband and I gave it to her!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT for sleepovers!
We live a few hours from family and when we visit, we always sleep on the floor in the living room.I bought 2 of these (one Scooby) for my 6 and 3 year old children because they always had trouble sleeping on the hard floor and we were up all night which left them quite cranky the following day.Since we got these beds, they sleep peacefully through the whole night, I no longer need to lug their pillows or extra blankets. They absolutely love them, which is important.I have caught them jumping like it's a trampoline, but they haven't sprung a leak yet!

The ONLY improvement I would like them to change is the valve. We have a small portable air pump that would make inflation a snap, but their valve doesn't fit any of the pumps out there and I even inquired about an adaptor but they don't offer one so you're left pumping by hand which is a pain.

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS IS THE FUTURE OF SLEEPING BAGS!
THE BED IS GREAT, IT GOES ON TRIPS WITH US, AND GET THIS, I HAVE SLEPT ON IT.BY THE WAY, I AM 5'9, 158LBS.

SOME COMPLAINED THAT IS LEAKS, THE ONLY JUSTIFICATION FOR THAT IS, SOME KIDS USE IT AS A TRAMPOLINE!

I HAVE HAD MINE FOR ALMOST A YEAR, AND HAVE INSTRUCTED ALL KIDS WHO STAY OVER, DO NOT JUMP ON IT!IT IS STRICTLY FOR LAYING, OR SLEEPING.

I ALSO HAVE AN AEROBED THAT LEAKS, BECAUSE I CAUGHT THE KIDS JUMPING AND WRESTLING ON IT.

AGAIN, THIS IS A GREAT AND DURABLE PRODUCT, IF USED CORRECTLY.

2-0 out of 5 stars Great Idea Very Bad Quality
My daughter loves it, but after only a few uses it leaked, located that leak and it lasted only a week, until the next leak. I am very disapointed, it should have lasted longer than a couple of months. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars A great buy for the beginner, also a wonderful gift.
I purchased these binoculars and a guide to regional birds as a gift for my father who enjoys amateur bird-watching(mostly from his lovely back porch at our country home).I don't know the first thing about buying binoculars, so I relied heavily on the reviews of other purchasers.Happily, I was not disappointed. These binoculars are lightweight and very simple to use, which my father loves. The sheer clarity and visibility actually shocked me upon first use.The only downfall being that this model does not have a zoom function which would be helpful at times; however, it is not necessary and barely hinders ones viewing pleasure.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for birdwatching!
My hubby and I are amateur birders - we have a very expensive set of field glasses but they are so heavy I cannot use them for extended periods.

So, I bought myself this nice Bushnell binocular - and I LOVE it!Very good for viewing, crisp images, and lightweight enough to use all day long without tiring my arms out!

I recommend them as a good yet inexpensive binocular.

5-0 out of 5 stars Very happy with purchase
Our first pair of binoculars, and my wife and I could not be happier. Clear, easy to focus, light weight. Great clarity at near distances; we have a Mourning Dove nest right off of our balcony -- less than six feet away -- and these binoculars allow us to to observe excellent detail. We're very happy with them; so much so that I just purchased the Bushnell Powerview 16x50 pair!

4-0 out of 5 stars Get a pairand get going!
Theseain't Leica's but they work darn good!
With thesebinoculars you can. . .

Check out the birds and see who's making that racket!Excellentbeginingbirder glasses.

The close focus ability is great for butterfly watchers( 8 feet)
get close without getting close!

Look at the heavens and see that all is not as it seems.
many "stars" are actually double stars, clusters or galaxies!

Easily read a license plate 100 yards away!

well worth the money!

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent buy
I'm impressed. For the $$$, these are awesome. I use them mostly for watching birds on the feeders around my house, and for looking at the moon. Very nice. They are easy to use, crisp, and light. I can see better with these than with my 10x60 binoculars (not that I understand the 8x40 vs. 10x60 :) Bottom line: If you are after perfection, don't buy these -- instead spend $$$$$ and get a great pair of binoculars. If you aren't quite that demanding, aren't a millionaire, and just want to be able to see things in closeup around your house, etc. I highly recommend these. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect for sports use...
These binoculars are nice and small, which make them perfect for tossing in a pocket on the way to a game or in a carry-on bag.I've been using them at racetracks across America, where it's imperative to be able to see a good 1000 yards, especially at Belmont Park, which has the widest track in North America. Not only do these glasses make it easy to distinguish saddlecloth colors and numbers on the backstretch going into the far turn, but I can often even make out whether or not a horse's ears are pricked.

4-0 out of 5 stars Good compact binoculars
The real value of this binocular is because it is so compact. It could fit into your pant pocket and still give you a useful tool. It has 12x magnification and the image is quite good compared to other binoculars in the same price range. It also has a rugged look and feel with a nice rubber casing.

The only problems that I find with the binocular is that 12x is a bit too unsteady to hold with your hands. So I find myself leaning on a nearby support in an attempt to keep the view from shaking. Also due to the small objective lens of the binocular, the view at night is not as bright as it could be (on comparing with a binocular with a 50mm objective lens). These are not really problems of this binocular but are limitations due to its size and magnification.

In short these are quite impressive.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better Bang for your Buck!
I purchased these for hunting and birdwatching. For the price they are wonderful. They are small compact but have great viewing ability.I would difinately recommend them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Binoculars, Great Price
I purchased these binoculars to bring to concerts and plays. The size was perfect for my small evening purse, but I didn't realize just how well they worked. Wish that I would have owned them when I was sitting in the upper stratosphere at the Celine Dion concert in Las Vegas. They go with me to every event now to ensure a "good" seat every time.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great binoculars in a small package
These binoculars are much smaller than my other 16x Bushnells, but surprisingly are comparable in quality. The greatest advantage of having small binoculars is that they are portable, and lightweight. One would expect to loose a lot of quality compared to larger ones, considering these advantages. But to my surprise, that trade-off was worth it.
Bottom line, lower price, higher portability, much lighter in weight make these binoculars a winner in its category. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Solid Craftsmanship
This is a high quality tool, as would be expected from Leatherman. It has a nice, solid feel and all joints are snug.I carry it with me at all times for those odd jobs that I don't want to run out to my tool box.As would be expected, I am more likely to fix those little problems when the tools are close at hand.
This tool comes with a combination plier/needlenose plier/wire cutter/stripper head, a nicely sized knife, three screwdrivers, a lanyard ring, scissors (which are perfectly leveraged), and a combination can opener/bottle opener. All blades are locking, with a nice release mechanism. In addition, there are well thought out "extras", such a ruler stamped into the case in inches and centimeters which is accurate enough for those quickie measurements that don't require extreme precision.
While not as comprehensive as some multi-tools, I have found the Fuse to be a nice compromise between functionality and portability.Highly recommended!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great addition to the Leatherman line
As a PC tech, this tool has been indispensable in my job. I've owned several, my favorite being the Wave, but I like this one because it's lightweight and has just the tools I need (after all, who really needs a saw in computer work?) The nice thing about this one is all the blades lock, and the lock release is easy to use. Another nice feature is the "get only the blade you need" feature. On my old Wave, I would pull out the scissors and the screwdrivers would all come out with it. With the Fuse, if you want just the scissors, you'll get just the scissors.

While the tool itself is built very well and feels solid, my one gripe would be the leather sheath that came with it. It just feels cheap. Maybe I was spoiled with the deluxe sheath that my Wave has, but I would think that Leatherman would include high-quality sheaths to complement their high-quality tools.

While I would never consider replacing my Wave for my outdoor adventures or simple home improvement projects, the Fuse is a worthy addition to my collection and is a great asset in my job. I would definitely recommend it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Update on my first review
In my first review I mentioned that the electronics often shut down.I called Night Owl and they said to send the scope in.They found that the power pack needed replacement. The service was good (no charge), I got it back within two weeks of sending it in and the problem was corrected. I have since tried the scope on streets with street lights. The shadows are light enough to see what you can't with unaided eyes and the 5 power magnification helps a lot. Still having fun with this one!

4-0 out of 5 stars Fun and well built!
I had never used a night vision scope before so when I read the reviews was not sure how much to believe. This product works well.As others have mentioned the center of the viewing area is in focus but the outter ring is blurred but not horribly so.I used it several times in the desert for long range viewing and found that on an overcast night near a city (the city lights causing the cloudcover to glow)it was almost like daylight with the scope. On a clear night with a nearly full moon while hiking in a mountainous area it was possible to see people a quarter mile up the trail very clearly, they could not be seen with a naked eye until they were within 50 to 100 feet due to shadows.I was was able to view trails over a half-mile away and could see them clearly (as with binoculars but brighter). The electronics tend to shut down if there is too much light which seemed to happen often (as a protection for the tube) but if you turn it off before it shuts down you can use the scope with the power off (the green glow stays there). When the IR illuminator is turned on it is very bright within about 30 yards but beyond that is not useful.I used it in a very dark room but the lenses can't focus any closer than about 10 feet. The illuminator was like a very powerful flashlight, but of course, you can't see the beam unless it is pointed directly at your face. From an angle it is visible as a dim red glow. I like it and can't wait to try it in other circumstances.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best you can get
Great product, and it's the best you'll find for Generation 1 night optics. Unless you want to go spending $1,000-4,000 for Generation 2 or 3 night optics, this is a good buy, and in a decent price range. It does what it advertises, and that's the important part.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not really
I thought this unit was kind of cheap. Not what I was expecting.I was looking for something cool, like in the movies and this was definetly not it.

3-0 out of 5 stars Yes and No
It is good for general landscapes when there is very little light. But it does not have the power to easily illuminate small animals.Great for camping trips. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars First one to work right for me!
I am 48 and have a bad back. My daughter lives in another state so she can not help me.My husband had a stroke in `89 & is paralyzed on one side...so he can not help me.Ok, I can not use the air pumps at stations as they are very heavy, to heavy for me and I can not lean over for long that far.I have tried cheap air pumps, they don't work for me. I even bought one for $79 and it is good but you have to hold it on the tire air stem and when I tried it, I lost ALL the air in my tire. lol I could not keep a good seal.
(and that one took me over 10 min's and over 20 min's for my daughter to refill the tire....she was home for the weekend.)
I need to be able to do this myself , no problems, when I need it.
I tried this today (got it yesterday) and it worked GREAT!!!)
First, the hose you use to attach to the tire stem is just the right size and screws on for a GREAT fit and seal!
Next, it sits on the ground, a must for me, I can not lean over any longer then it takes to attach it.
It also has a gage on it that helps. When it says 40, my tire pressure is about 33 (it needs to be 30) so I need to learn what is what, it goes 20-40 and when putting the air in..turn it off and it goes to right mark, it reads a tad high.
But easy to learn what the right mark is from using it. Everything but the big hose you use for air matterss, etc. is stored inside and attached. I love it.
Also, I have a ford taurus wagon and the air stem angles a bit to the side, even my daughter had problems (no problems with her Aztec as the stem is straight out) but with this hose, doesn't matter what the angle of the stem is, it works fine and is VERY easy to attach and use.
If you have any problems, as I have, this worksgreat and worth every penney. Oh, it took me under 12 min's to do 2 tires! (including attaching and unattaching each tire.)
I hope this helps some.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great!!!
Do not waste your time or money buying less expensive ones. It works as advertised. Inflate a completely flat car tire in about 3-4 minutes or much less time if you just need to add air periodically. No need to jack up the car. The connector for the car tires is the best I've ever seen. It screws directly to the stem with absolutely no air loss. Unlike the cheap clip-on ones that the other companies use. Coleman has always made high quality products and this is no exception. Much better than the previous 3 pumps that I bought and threw away, totally useless.

2-0 out of 5 stars Very Expensive
If you're looking to buy an air pump for your car, why buy something so expensive, when there are products available for under $10.. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars shakey start but well worth the wait.
Okay, the discs that came with the box delivered would not install.Getting a hold of Tech Support required scouting for the 416 number in Canada and leaving a voice mail message - not the best first impression.I did receive a return call about 4 hours later from Claire at Starry Night Tech Support. She said this was a known manufacturing problem affecting a small batch of product that went out, and she promised to send me a replacement set once I provided proof of purchase (a copy of Amazon's confirmation e-mail sufficed).

Now that I have the program installed, I am quite pleased. It's graphics are stunning especially compared to my old DOS version of Skyglobe.

The Local View, which I use most frequently, has options to turn on or off Daylight, Local Horizon, Local and Distant Light Pollution.Of these, the 1st 2 provide dramatic differences in the realistic view of the sky. The latter two don't really impress.

Solar System objects are selectable too - Asteroids, Comets, Meteor showers, Planets and Satellites can all be turned on or off as are their labels.

Constellation Options include Auto Identify, Boundaries, Illustrations (artsy, but superfluous in my view), Labels and Stick Figures. The last of these offers five flavours, so most of you can find constellation stick figures to suit your taste.

I found the Astronomical View a tad complex while the Asterisms were a tad over simplified compared to what I grew up with (again - Skyglobe). Also available are Oriental Moon Stations, Reyís and Zodiac.

Deep Spave Objects can be selected (and labeled).Drill deeper into space and you will see nice images of distant galaxies etc.

The printouts are also fairly nice.Don't expect a mirror image of the realistic view as displayed on the monitor. You get a nice star chart with what ever labels you selected in your Options.

A really fun feature is the "Spaceship" option if you wish to take a little cruise around the local solar system, or zip off to distant galaxies. I would like to be able to turn off the onscreen targeting window (for lack of better term or inclination to look the term up).But a nice feature none the less.

I don't use a telescope, so I can't comment on features geared towards amateur astronomers, but as a night sky enthusiast, I'm more that satisfied with Starry Night.

I had to delete the initial rating on this item because I didn't want a 1 star rating to remain in effect that was based solely on my displeasure over a non-installable set of discs.Had it worked straight out of the box, I would have given this product a 5 star rating. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Nikon Travelite: Excellent Value
I am very impressed with the Travelite series. These small binoculars are great for kids and travel. These are the only binoculars (for the price) to have if you where glasses. Since I stopped taking off my glasses every time I wanted to see through binoculars I use my binoculars 10 times more often. I have purchased a second set of these and found the 10X a little to much magnification and like the 8x better. For kids the 8x is much easier for them to find targets quickly especially when birding. I have tried the zoom models in the store and the images are not a sharp as the standard models. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars waste of money
This is a terrible product:1.The binoculars are very heavy and awkward to use.2.The pictures are extremely poor.3. The company offers poor service and packaged instructions are very brief and insufficient.WA

1-0 out of 5 stars 1.3MP version
I bought the Meade CaptureView 8X42 1.3MP Digital Camera Binocular. The first one had software / hardware that hung up after 3 pictures, the second one had so many pixels missing from the screen it was unreadable, the third one wouldnt turn on and the black side flashing fell off on removal from the box.
A truely tatty product

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised
After reading some mixed reviews I was skeptical, but I wanted the product and no other had as many features. Besides, I figure you get what you pay for and this was the most expensive of the bino/cameras.

The bad news first: The item feels somewhat flimsy despite its 11/2 pounds. It's made of plastic; you wouldn't want to drop it. The flip-up LCD screen appears vulnerable on its lightweight hinged base. This base rubs on an internal cable, which may wear, causing future problems. The battery cover fits so loosely I have to hold it in place with a rubber band or the camera turns off.

The good news: Most of the plastic (except the battery cover) is heavy duty. The LCD screen can be left down most of the time so it's out of harm's way.You can't see it in bright light anyway and it's only needed for the initial setup and to view pictures.Power is readily maintained with the application ofa rubber band to hold the battery cover in place. The binoculars are great. The 2MP images are excellent to my non-professional eye and accurately duplicate the view seen through the binoculars.Resolution is even sufficient for further magnification with photo software. The menu and controls are user friendly. One of the best features is the internal
flash menory, which retains images even if the batteries fail, and the SD slot for expandability.Plug n' play means no potentially faulty external drivers. The device is recognized as a hard drive and images can be opened in any photo app..

I'm satisfied. It's a keeper!

3-0 out of 5 stars It is okay.
I just got my meade binoculars/digital camera. I believe the binoculars are excellent. The camera part can use some work, but for a product in its infancy, its kind of fun.I am still testing the camera part, but I do believe the price is a little high. The casing is plastic, but it appears to be pretty sturdy. It is also a bit heavier than my celestron binocular/digital camera (with no LCD).Overall, for a little fun and something new it is okay. DEFINITELY, NEEDS TRIPOD CAPABILITY, WHICH THIS ITEM DOES NOT HAVE.IF YOU ARE VERY SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING AN ITEM SUCH AS THIS AND YOU REALLY NEED IT FOR SERIOUS PIX TAKING I WOULD NOT BUY THIS ITEM UNTIL THE TECHNOLOGY IMPROVES, BUT IF YOU WANT IT FOR FUN AND THE PRICE GOES DOWN A BIT, THEN GO FOR IT.I AM KEEPING MINE. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO ADVANCEMENT IN THIS FIELD.

2-0 out of 5 stars not what I thought
I have only used these twice for a total of about 40 pictures. I am sure once I use them more the quality will improve. I was disappointed when I realized that what you see in the binocular is NOT what the picture will be. To frame the picture you must use the LCD screen, which is impossible to see in sunlight. I suggest getting either a good digital camera with high zoom or good binoculars not a combination, until this tecnology improves. The binoculars are very good by themselves. The camera is difficult to use. ... Read more
