doubtful purchaser
We searched high and low for the perfect poker chips/"outfit" as a birthday gift for our son.Low and behold, I went to amazon, as usual, and found the this perfect set...it just arrived.the chips are EXACTLY what he asked for.Unfortunately, the aluminum "suitcase" was a bit dented, and we reported it to Games and Chips...the VERY NEXT DAY...they wrote an e-mail to us, and guess what...a new case is coming in the mail tomorrow.Now...is THAT great customer service??YES?Games and Chips has "WOWED"this customer.I will only buy fromthis vendor, thru amazon.

Very nice
After looking around on Amazon this was the best deal so I bought one. I was a little ambivalent because they were so cheap and wondered if it would be poor quality, but I am very pleased with the chips, the case, and the cards. When I opened the box I discovered that 25 of the chips were of the wrong type but I contacted the seller and they immediately made arrangements to get me the right chips and they arrived soon thereafter. Between the price the quality and the customer service I have to say that this is a great buy.

Excellent chips, great set
I shopped around for quite a while before deciding on this set.The chips are very nice - great weight, sturdy and stylish with nice engravings.The case is solid enough, similar to an aluminum case for grilling tools.It is lined with green felt, has a handle, and can hold all 500 chips and 4 decks.As mentioned in a previous review, the slots in the case are pretty tight and there is room to fit a few more in each, but the chips fit fine.Any looser and there's a good chance that there would be chips all over the place when you opened the case after moving it around.Note that this is not officially a Texas Hold 'Em set, so there are no dealer or blinds buttons.The only factor that made me hesitate when purchasing this set was the high cost of shipping, but the chips are heavy and the item arrived in two business days.Even with the costs of shipping this set beat the price of almost every comparable set of 500 chips I looked at.The only thing that remains to be seen is if the chips stand the test of time but I am very happy with this purchase.

As a last note, the merchant includes a chip in the set as a marketing piece - the actual chips are of a much higher quality, so don't freak out if you see this chip first.

Great Basic Course in NLH if you get both of Howard's DVD's!
No matter what the product is, there will always be people who are on both sides of the fence -- some will like it, others will criticize it unmercifully.I've seen some negative rewiews on these tapes/DVDs as well as positive.

I will say this: Get both videos, Sercets and More Secrets, for a great course in NLH. Follow Howard's advice though and don't jump right into More Secrets after viewing Secrets.

If you are new to NLH, you can't go wrong with Howard's DVDs. All the key concepts are here and Howard will elevate your game pretty quick.His gentle but concerned demeanor really makes you feel confident in playing this game.This may sound silly, but you can't help but feel that Howard really wants to help YOU become a good player.

Its all here: Preflop strategy, betting concepts on all betting rounds, pot odds and outs, bluffing situations, tells, tournament strategies, avoiding traps, playing suited connectors, and so much more.

Cheaper then Kem and quite possibly better
I picked up 2 nice decks of these in the plastic case on ebay for 15.50 (including shipping). I got em two days ago and let me tell ya, there is almost no difference in these and kem except these cards have a lifetime guarantee. Consider that the Kem will run ya 30$ after shipping and its a very simple decision. These are in fact washable with just a bit of cold water on each spot you have on them, itll also get rid of little smudges and light grease from was on my fingers after eating dinner. I did a lot of searching for chips with a different look than the standard "dice" or "suits." These chips fit the bill. They arrived in great condition. No flaws. I chose the silver case. It's pretty sturdy and looks pretty sleek, although one of the locks is difficult to operate.
