Calorie meter is overly optimistic
Provides a non-challenging workout, but it's a good way to keep up your BMR when watching TV or reading etc. Bike is very quiet. The calorie meter seems to be a joke. I have an ergometer (rowing machine) that makes me work up a _huge_ sweat, and I only rack up 400 calories in about 40 exhausting minutes. I used this bike at a comfortable pace for about twenty minutes and the calorie meter had counted up to 200 calories. And I hadn't sweat a drop nor felt any fatigue. So, I don't quite buy the count. But it's better than doing nothing...

A little jerky, but excellent other than that.
I bought this for use when people are sitting around the tube and want to still be active or when sitting at the computer.It's portable and small so it stores well.It does everything a recumbent bike does, but it's portable!It is a little jerky on the knees, but has a great adjuster and once you break it in it glides easy.No assembly either!

For the price this unit is fantastic. It is perfect for many exercises. Construction is sound and stable. I bought it solely for the dips. Push-up handles are to close to the frame to comfortably do them in rapid succession. However, if careful it is possible to do them. I highly recommend it for the in home gym supplement and have to my friends.

Power tower great!
I think this is one of the best equipment. Because you don't need extra weight, only your body weight. I did use similar item before, and it worked well. You can make a nice strong athletic body with this item, and that is what I need, and NOT more. Show me only one of those heavy weight lifter, or big body builder guys, who can make more than 40 pull ups! Yes you can do that, all you need this equipment. Ohh and cheap!

Great shoes for the money
My job requires me to do a lot of walking, so I needed an affordable-yet-comfortable pair of walking shoes to wear to work every day.When I came across these Men's Walk Platinum shoes for $29.99, I was a bit skeptical.I'm used to spending several times as much on Nike Air's, so I didn't know what to expect out of a $30 pair of Reebok's.So, for the heck of it, I ordered these shoes thinking to myself, "They're only 30 bucks, if I don't like them, oh well, no big deal".

Well, let me tell you, these shoes are much better than I expected and on par with the more expensive Nike's that I'm used to wearing in terms of comfort, style, and quality.Easily the best $30 I've ever spent, on shoes at least.

First of all, they look nicer in person than they do in the picture shown above, which makes them look cheap, in my opinion.Don't get me wrong, they are somewhat bland-looking, but in a good way.I find them tasteful and conservative, unlike so many walking or running shoes out there that are 10 different colors and littered with all kinds of crazy styling cues like stripes, huge multi-colored logos, and such.

Quality is another area where these shoes excel.The leather is nicely stitched and the overall build quality is very good.A lot of shoes I've owned, especially Nike's, have had some noticeable defects such as poor stitching and inconsistent symmetry between the right and the left shoe.On one pair of Nike's I had, the left shoe was almost an inch taller than the right, no kidding!As a result, the left shoe had to be laced up tighter than the right just to fit correctly.Luckily, there are no such defects with this pair.They both match up quite nicely, very symmetrical.

Finally, and most importantly, is how comfortable they are.I find them to be every bit as comfortable as any of the Nike's I've had.The DMX air cushioning works extremely well, and you can actually feel the air moving under your feet as you walk.It feels great.

I only have one small, and I do mean small, complaint about these shoes:their "new shoe" smell.Fresh out of the box, these things smell like a mixture of paint and hairspray (yes, hairspray).The smell about knocked me over when I opened the box.Luckily, the smell dissipates after just a few days.No big deal.
