Great workout in high step, NOT come with DVD but VHS
I recieved the high step box from Amazon.com today. In the product information above stated that include Cathe high step workout DVD. However, I got the box with VSH Cathe Intensity series Muscle Endurance which I already have. I love to workout with Cathe so I bought most the nesessary stuff for her workout. Durable....
I bought this pedometer becausei didn't want to invest too much money in it...Whaoua...I'm quite amazed how that pedometer survived the bad treatment it received...:)
First, I happened to sometimes drop it...Not broken!
And secondly, last time that I put it on my pajama pant(and forget it), I put the pedometer in the washing machine and then dry it!....Believe me after all that, it still workkkk!!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!
That pedometer is very simple to use and compact...Go for it!

These stink
This pedometer stinks - it keeps resetting itself, making it impossible to know how many steps you've done in a day. I bought 12 of them for the company fitness club, and all 12 did the same thing - reset themselves, so all 12 are going back.

buy the 10 pack for the most accuracy
As everybody knows, pedometer's can't be counted on for being accurate, so an elementary statistical sampling technique can help you gauge the amount of steps you've taken.With this particular pedometer, I recommend using at least 8 at once, which I must admit is far fewer than the 17 I needed from the Wheaties boxes.

good all-around shoe, available in widths
I trained in Adrenaline GTS for about 2 years, and had few problems with them.I found they provided some support without too much motion control (I don't like stiff rollbars).They were sturdy enough for long distances, but not too heavy or stiff.The forefoot is fairly spacious, which I find reduces blisters, and the heel is snug so there is little slipping.

Overall, a good basic shoe.It's also nice that they come in a variety of widths so you can get a shoe that really fits.

The stability and cushion will make your feet smile
It's a shame there aren't any reviews.And since I've got nothing but good things to say about these, I guess I should give some feedback and information on the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 5.

With my previous shoes, I felt knee grinding after only a couple miles.Knowing that they were on their last leg and that my Famous Footwear shoes never really did me any good, I went to a specialty foot store here in Chicago (Fleet Feet at Piper's Alley) for a real fitting.

With my over pronation and the amount I run (usually 5-8 miles, 4x/week), I needed a shoe with good stability to keep my foot from turning (that keeps my knees from grinding and my hips from popping).

Of all the shoes I tried that corrected the pronation, these were the most comfortable.And knowing that Brooks specializes in running and that this specific model is repeatedly a top seller, there's a good amount of psychological comfort too.

I've got about three weeks of running in on these shoes, and I swear that I run faster and jump higher in them.I was previously struggling at mile 2.5 because of my knees, but the day after switching to these, I did 7 miles without my usual sissy whining.

Truth be told, I highly recommend going to a specialty shop to get fitted by people who know what's going on.I paid $90 for this pair.For the consultation and the know-how, it was worth the additional $20.However, amazon.com will get my business now that I know that these indeed fix my pronation.

TIPS:Don't forget to buy all running shoes a size too big!I wear a 5.5 in real shoes, and I wear a 6.5 in these running shoes -- not because they run small but because your feet expand significantly after a few miles.

This is a great product! I'm so glad I invested in it!I'm a large guy and I been looking for something that will help work my gut. Great Fitness Bands, So-So DVD
I ordered this product to add more variety and challenge to my toning workouts. Fitness bands are particularly great for women, who may want to gain muscle strength without bulking up. This product comes with three fitness bands of varying resistance. I was pretty surprised how hard some of the exercises were even with the lightest resistance band--but they all felt good and gave me a challenge. I really loved the accessories the bands came with--a door strap and ankle straps. With the door strap you put it in the door frame and close the door, then loop the band through it. If you put the door strap at the top of the door or at shoulder level, there are many excellent shoulder exercises you can do. You can also put it lower in the door frame to do exercises sitting, or lying down. If you exchange the handles for the ankle straps, you can work your leg muscles, also using the door strap.

The only thing I didn't really like was the DVD. It was definitely helpful the first time I used the bands--showing a variety of exercises and correct form for each one. But, you can't really use it from start to finish for your workout. The instructor only demonstrates how to do the exercises--she doesn't lead you through doing them on each side of the body, etc, for a full workout. Also, you frequently have to change to and from the door strap and ankle straps, which takes about 30 seconds, so you have to pause the DVD between most exercises, which is kind of annoying after a few times. Luckily, the kit also comes with a poster that shows all of the exercises and explains good form on each, so that is helpful for everyday use.

Great monitor, good bike computer but a complex beast...
I've had the S150 as a heart rate monitor and sometimes bike computer (on my mountain bike) for about 8 months now.Here's what it does REALLY well:

1) Instantaneous heart rate.
2) Lap timer that captures average and peak heart rate during each split and also displays lap time and instantaneous heart rate during the workout.
3) Instantaneous bike speed.
4) Total mileage covered.
5) Average speed per lap/distance covered in each lap.

Here's what it does satisfactorily:
1) Ease of navigation through all of the functions.

My only real gripe with this heart rate monitor is the labyrinth of menus and "paths" that you must travel down by clicking on numerous buttons to get to the true functionality of the device.This may scare off the technologically inept or the impatient types, but those familiar with Polar HR monitors or the kind of person that will sit down with the manual and learn the device will come to enjoy the accurate biofeedback this training tool offers.
