Tippmann A-5
I just got the a-5 for my birthday with out any mods and its still amazing. It's unbelievably accurate for an 8 and a 1/2in. barrel. It can also shoot pretty fast with the cyclone. Im goin for the flatline next.Besides the flatline there are so many sweet mods for your style of play. This is an amazing gun i'd suggest to any paintballer especially for woodsball.

Tippmann A-5
I just purchased a tippmann A-5 and I enjoy it a lot. The cyclone feed system is genius because you will never need to buy an electric hopper that can exceed 100 dollars. The reticle aimer is nice because you always have something to aim with at medium to long distances. You can also take it out if you want a scope. Part of the reason why I decieded to buy this gun over others is because it has hundreds of accessories. There are stocks, like 200 barrels with the A-5 thead to Spyder thread adapter and even bipods. A part of the gun that dissapointed me was the barrel that came with it. It is sometimes inaccurate and the holes in the side make it hard to clean if a ball breaks. The "field strip technology" is a must have because it simply makes maintaining the gun easy as pie! Two more criticisms I have is the Front handle which I think is sort of low quality. It is hollow plastic and they could have at least made an end cap or something. The second thing is the "manual feder advance lever". It has a tube that isflimsy... I guess that would be the answer to why the lever is flimsy too. The "manual feder advance lever" is sort of cheesy, you only press it once every time you reload your balls. Even though some of the gun may seem a little "cheap" in a few of its parts it still preforms extremely well and is easy to use and manuver in the field. I gave it the 5 stars because of the accessories, itsuser friendly system and its preformance.

this is the best gun i ever had. if you add a longer barrel like a 16 inch,it becomes so freaken accurate.

The Only Gun you will need
This gun is truely amazing. This gun is easy to field strip and clean, rugged and tough, dependable, and upgradable.

I recommend this gun for beginners and pros alike. Depending on your play style, you can customize and/or upgrade this gun to your hearts desire and paintball needs. Speedball? Get an E-Grip and big Shot barrel. Woodsball? Get a Flatline barrel and a stock. This gun will grow with you.

The cycolne feed is perfect. I have not seen a ball break with it yet. It is capable of putting 15 paintballs per second into the chamber. (You would need a response trigger or E-grip to do that)

This gun is the last one I will need to buy for several years.

a-5 is awesome!
After doing much research on a site like www.pbreview.com this gun got rave reviews and they definitely are correct.I am just using the stock a-5 (no modifications i.e flatline barrel)and pmi premium paintballs. ok paint
this paintballs work pretty good and i have only had a couple of chops with them. none during games. they are very reliable to break on the target and are very cheap for there consistensy. I love these paintballs. They are really good if you are a low budget paintball player. I recomend the brownish shell. If you have a clear hopper it will be harder to see if someone is hiding in a bush.

Barrel get the Babes!
This barrel absolutley rocks!!Not only does it nail everyone withing 100 yards but it attracts the groupie babes like a magnet.I'm going to buy 10 of these barrels tomorrow!

Increased range !
The Flatline barrel lives up to it's claim of increasing range, no other barrel system can come close to matching the distance. However, the flatline does have some quirks. First, high quality, small diameter paint must be used for the barrel to work best, as a gap between the paintball and the barrel is needed to create the backspin. The barrel must be cleaned often for best performance, as the gelatin from the paintball will build up in the barrel which decreases the amount of backspin, thus decreasing range. The barrel accuracy is also affected by things such as high wind, moisture in the air, and the angle the barrel is held. If the marker is tip sideways at an angle, the paintball will hook, so with practice you can actually get your balls to hook around bunkers at a certain range, which really surprises your opponents. It makes a great addition to your A-5.

The Flatline Rocks
The Flatline is the best thing a Tippmann owner can have. It is good for woodsball and back and mid players in sup' air. It can make the marker weigh more but with an e-grip or e-boltthis gun is amazing. This is great for games when you need to reach out and touch someone. This thing is loud but that just scaries newbies. Get this for your a-5 or 98 custom right now, for around $120.

Get those people that just can't get you!
The flatline barrel for the A-5, in addition to looking like a silenced MP-5, really does work as advertised.I regularly take people out that believe themselves out of range, because they know that I am out of range of their guns.While the flatline is quite loud (its not ported), the very loudness can freak people out - espcially when you have an RT and are shooting bursts or full auto at them.

The only two items to worry about are paintball size -- you get better performance from slightly bigger balls, which can be a problem if you're in a "field paint only" situation and get stuck with lousy balls -- although they still work, you lose some accuracy at greater ranges.The second is cleaning the barrel.Between the cyclone system and not being able to easily take off the barrel, using a squeegie on this barrel can be a chore.Just make sure you are beind a tree and out of range when you're trying to do it. ... Great paintball gun
The Tippmann m98 is awesome paintball gun. Its very accurate and its way more accurate with the flatline barrel witch is about $120. I have shot it around 6500 times and it never jammed. Every time I play with my friends who have Spyders and Autocockers there gun jams at least once. If you get one you should buy a different barrel because the 8.5" barrel that it comes with is horrible.

A review for a really good gun
This isgreat gun i love it. the stock barrel isn't very good but you can get a decent one for $40 J&J ceramic is the best if you dont have $100 for a barrel. I have the J&J ceramic on mine and i hit my 4" target from about 150 feet away. its durable, co2 usage isn't bad (600 shots on a 9oz)

This paintball gun must be the BEST! This gun is an outstanding, well-operating gun that will not fail you in combat. Though nothing is wrong with this gun, I want to get a Flatline Sniper Barrel for my 98 Custom. This gun was recommended by many friends... and they were right! It is a great gun (plus a low cost)!

Wow man i COMPLETELY RECOMMEND THIS GUN it is the best i have ever had, it needs a lot of upgrades like new barral which costs around $60 - $100 but its completly worth it! Ive been upgrading this gun and playing wit h for about a year and a half now n i cant believe how accurate and SICK it is! It has nice firepower but a response trigger will make the 20 times better or an E-Bolt system. This gun is good for Beginners And Intermidiate players! I might be 15 but i no a good gun wen i see one and this is one crazy marker. I played 4 tourtaments wit it alredy n im OWNING!!!

Electronic Loader Care and Maintenance Follow these easy steps to keep your electronic loader in top shape for years to come. Disassembly: Step 1: Remove loader from the paintball marker and empty out any unused paintballs. Step 2: Remove the feed adapter or VLBow if necessary. Remove the batteries, leaving the battery door in the open position. Step 3: Remove the right and left flip cap plugs by sliding a small flat blade screwdriver between the plug and the housing prying apart until the plugs come loose. Remove the flip lid by pulling each side away from and over the pivot post on the housing. Step 4: Remove the seven body screws from the right side of the loader. Step 5: Separate the right and left housing. Step 6: Remove the right and left raceway, the main circuit board motor and propeller and wiring harness from the housing. Cleaning: Step 1: The body and flip lid may be cleaned with soap and water once they are separated from the Circuit Boards and motor. Keep moisture away from all electronic components of the loader. Step 2: If the Circuit Boards or motor are contaminated with paint, wipe them off with a clean, dry cloth. The components can be separated if necessary by unplugging wiring harness. Reassembly: Step 1: Place the right and left Raceway into the correct positions in the right and left housing. Step 2: Plug the wiring harness and motor harness back into the circuit board. If the wiring harness is plugged in backwards the unit will not turn on. If the motor harness is plugged in backwards the motor will turn in the wrong direction and the paintballs will not feed into the neck portion of the hopper. Step 3: Reinstall the assembly of step 2 into the left housing assembly from step 1. Make sure the switch, LED light and speed adjustment are oriented properly. Ensure that the wires are in a secure location so as not to get pinched or cut. Step 4: Carefully align the right housing assembly into place. There should not be a gap between the two halves. ...
