If you want no nonsense paintball power, this is your gun!
Folks, if you are considering buying a Tippmann A-5, please do yourself a favor and get the RT version, you'll thank me later. Although the RT increases your gas/shot ratio very slightly, your increase in rate of fire is more than worth it. Even if you're usually a one shot-one kill sort of guy like me, the ability to crank out 2, 3, 4 shot bursts, as well as full auto comes in real handy. What's better is that to do these shot modes, you don't have to change any settings on your computer board. Just take the gun out for a spin and find the "sweet spot" in the trigger pull, and the gun will do the work for you.

When playing last weekend, people were scared silly when they heard the full auto report from my A-5, and they were even more scared by the fact that my flatline was sending balls right at them even when they thought they were safely out of range!

The cyclone feed worked very well, and I had no ball breaks after a case of paint.However, I did get shot on my hopper at the seam, and some of the paint got inside of the hopper.I will be taping up my hopper seam in future games.Two cons for the gun -- the only way to stop your ball feed is to remove your hopper - not the most practical method.The other is cleaing the cyclone system itself -- which taping up your hopper would likely prevent you from having to do in the first place.Due to the moving parts, be sure you have a q-tip or five handy to take care of cleaning it out. ... i dont own this game personally but my neighbor has one and i played it at his house couple of times and i just became addicted. I, myself, do actually go paintballing 2 or 3 times a month.
