Good, light low carb bar
This bar is lightly sweet and has a nice granola flavor.It does not seem as 'synthetic' as other low carb bars often do.There is a vanilla coating on the bottom half of the bar, so this snack does not always travel well in the heat!(The coating will melt.)

Many of the bars will leave me with side effects because of the sugar alcohols, and this one was not among them.I was able to maintain ketosis and continue losing weight while having this as a snack.

Breakfast of . . . those who like to sleep late
I've been eating a couple of a variety of relatively-healthy food bars, along with a box or two of juice, for breakfast. I can eat in the car on the way to the hospital. As an emergency physician I work a lot of crazy hours and sleeping an extra 15 minutes is worth a lot. They're also what I carry in my pack for mountain or cave rescue operations or disaster responses (along with some other things, of course!)

I've tried lots of different food bars for breakfast, and this is tops. Better than Cliff bars, or most of the bars I can find in the natural foods stores. "Chunx of Energy" (made somewhere near Pittsburgh, PA, I think) are close and a reasonable alternative, but only available from natural foods stores in bulk.

(Once someone brought a case of Power Bars to our local mountain rescue group meeting. He said "they're a donation, take some!" "I bet they're stale." "How can you tell a stale one from a fresh one, they taste stale when they're brand new!")

British Jordan's Frusli bars are a close second. It is possible to have them shipped from the UK--no supplier in the USA I can find--and the cost for 60 works out to be about $1/each including shipping--but they're just 33.3 grams (one ounce) as opposed to 1.7 ounces for the Boomi bars. So the cost is about the same.

Excellent for allergy, asthma, sinus & ear infections
I've had allergies & asthma all my life. Using Xlear has greatly helped. It is not a cure, but has caused a VERY noticeable improvement. Best Protein Bar I've Ever Had!
Of all of the protein bars I've ever had--and I've tried many--the protein bars by Designer Whey (Detour Caramel Peanut & Joyride Coconut Almond) are the best. By providing plenty of texture with either the coconut bits or the peanuts and putting plenty of flavor around their whey base it honestly tastes like you're eating a candy bar. I know that I'm sounding like I'm working for the company, but I'm just wanting to pass along the experience that I've had. I've wasted tons of money and time eating crummy protein bars. I'm really happy that my wife and I found these.

If these don't work for you as a second option I would recommend the bars by ProteinOne. Thirdly the bars by Myoplex.
