nice, but buy one with more motors
I purchased this for my girlfriend, who suffers from back problems.Before giving it to her I tried it myself... It does work nicely, but it only has 5 motors.This just isnt enough power, especially in the lower back where theres only one motor.I want to return it and get the Homedics massager with 8 or 10 motors, now thats a massage!Otherwise, everything else about this product is excellent, thats why I want another (more expensive) one.Its comfortable with its foam padding, and convientent with its 2 adapters (AC and car outlet).Only complaint is that the vibrations do make your back itchy after a little while, but thats due to the blood circulating better. ... i choose this showerhead for the way itwas held in the bracket.
when recieving the item, it attachs to the bracket the way i did not want. ad shows it attach's at the top of the handle, which is hard to find in the stores. that is why i ordered this one.

Better than the rest, but not perfect.
Although the Thumper 2 gives a much deeper massage than the traditional vibrating massagers it falls short in a couple of areas; first you can't use it on your neck and second the nodes are not adjustable. It is a little heavy, but the weight provides the right amount of pressure for a decent massage. Overall it gives an excellent deep massage to tired and sore muscles and does a particularly super job on larger muscles. The real test will be how long it lasts (apparently there have been some longevity issues in the past, which supposedly has been rectified). I am very happy with it for now and would recommend the Thumper 2 to anyone seeking relief from shoulder, back or leg pains. ... Read more
