A Classic Above all the Rest
Most tennis players under the age of 30 do not know who Stan Smith was, but to those who watched the lankly blond player at Forest Hills take-on all comers in the US Open, we remember him as a fellow who could outreach almost any shot.The Adidas Stan Smith shoe is, for me, the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, must less played tennis in.

Since 1972, I've worn-out five pairs, not so much from my tennis playing, but from my wearing them everywhere except church.This is not to say that the Reeboks, Nikes, and other brands I have aren't good, they just aren't up to the comfort level of the Stan Smith.

The shoe has full leather uppers, with a sole good for all surfaces.It is not as heavy as a shoe made for grass, but it is heavy enough and study enough to add support to your feet as you scramble to return those sideline shots.

I would not hesitate recommending this shoe to anyone, and the price is as good as any you'd get on this model at the outlets. ... Read more
